I think about methods in networks and statistical inference. These fields offer both beautiful mathematical results and insights about the many complex systems that make up our world. I like working on projects that bring these two types of results together. Right now, I am thinking about dynamics of higher-order networks. I also work on questions relating to infectious disease. At the moment, I’m pondering on superspreading dynamics and within-host infectious disease models.
I’m a PhD student in Computer Science advised by Dr. Daniel Larremore at CU Boulder. I received a B.A. in Mathematics and Computer Science at Middlebury College. While at Middlebury, I conducted research on hypergraph growth models with Dr. Phil Chodrow in the Department of Computer Science and on global responses to U.S. military action with Dr. Alex Lyford in the Department of Statistics.
